LA Party Lights

We're the platform.
Not the vendor.

Everything on this site is somebody else's business, and we don't compete with them. There is exactly one thing we do ourselves, and it only exists because the plan is already in here.

Worth saying plainly

We don't compete with the businesses on here

We are not a security company, a valet company or a photo booth company. Security and valet are licensed trades — a real security firm has a PPO number and a valet operator carries its own insurance, and you should ask to see both. LA Party Lights 360 is a separate business with its own name; it lists here like anybody else and gets no special treatment for sharing a surname.

The reason is simple. The moment a platform starts selling the same services it lists, every business on it has to wonder whether the ranking is honest — and that doubt is very cheap to create and almost impossible to remove. So we sell the platform, and they sell the work.

Before you ask

A coordinator is not a planner

A planner decides things with you over months. This is one day: somebody who already knows the plan — because it is in this app — chasing the florist, telling the photographer what is next, and ticking the run sheet so everyone can see where things are. It is for the couple whose friends and family are all in the wedding and therefore cannot also be running it. If you want somebody to help you decide, hire a planner; several are listed here.

And where you are changes the price

In Glendale, a coordinator is somebody's Saturday and the price is what you'd expect. Two hours out, it's travel. Another state, it's flights and a hotel before anyone has done anything. We'd rather say that here than surprise you with it — ask early and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it.

Before you count on one

It is a paid service, booked separately from the app. The planner is free and always will be; a coordinator is a person's whole day and is charged for as one.

It is subject to availability. There is a limited number of Saturdays and we will not take on a date we cannot cover properly.

Asking is a request, not a booking. Nothing is held for you until we have confirmed the date with you in writing. Until then, please plan as though it is not confirmed — because it is not.
