We do weddings properly, and we do the christening, the fiftieth, the quinceañera and the graduation in somebody's back garden just as properly. They all need the same twenty things sorted and the same twenty calls made.
Why we built it
Most tools only ever expected one kind of day
Most of them were built for a wedding with one particular budget in mind. Throw anything else — or the same thing for less — and you were back to a notes app, a spreadsheet and forty text messages, finding out on the day that nobody had told the photographer when the first dance was.
So we built one place that holds the whole thing: every trade a celebration needs, one message instead of twenty, every price side by side, and a plan on the day that everybody can see.
How we make money
From businesses, never from you
Planning is free and always will be. Businesses pay a flat monthly fee to be listed — that is the whole model. We take no commission, no booking fee, and no cut of anybody's work. Your money never passes through us; you pay each business directly on their own terms.
That matters more than it sounds. A platform earning a percentage has a reason to push you towards the expensive option. We do not have that reason, which is why we can tell you honestly who is good.
Where we are
Los Angeles, and only Los Angeles for now
Every business on here is local and was checked by a person before it appeared. We would rather be genuinely useful in one city than thin across fifty — a directory you cannot trust is worse than no directory.
